PRISMO
PRISMO is an interactive electronic music installation which dynamically improvises music. Audience/participants can add and remove colored shapes from a white felt-board, which PRISMO "sees" using a webcam. The music is then composed on the spot based on color, shape, and arrangement of the shapes. Curiously-minded listeners can puzzle out some of PRISMO's logic to understand how to create certain sounds, or can simply create whatever artwork they like and enjoy the resulting music.
PRISMO was premiered at youth art month in spring of 2025 at the MAC Ice House in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. PRISMO is available for installations at galleries, schools, libraries, and other venues. Please email me at WalkerWilliamsMusic@gmail.com for more information.
