A Recorder Christmas
This is a set of three Christmas carols arranged as duets for two recorders. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, for soprano and alto; The Wexford Carol, for Alto and Tenor; and Nos Galan (a tune also known as 'Deck the Halls'), which requires some extended technique in the form of both performers humming while playing, and one performer playing soprano and sopranino recorders simultaneously (what can I say, people get a kick out of seeing someone play two instruments at once).
These arrangements can easily be played by any pair of C instruments (or any two like-transposing instruments for that matter). These pieces are free to download, print, and perform.
